For our foreign visitors: what is SVContact.com?

Dear visitor,

thanks for visiting our website. Since March 2002 the SV Contact Club is an official club in The Netherlands and Belgium. The members (in 2009 about 100) of the SV Contact Club have one thing in common: they all own a sport/tour V-twin Suzuki motorcycle. At the moment Suzuki has produced the following sport/tour V-twin motorcycles: the SV650(S), TL1000(S/R), SV1000(S) and (new for 2009) the Gladius (also known as SFV650).

The SV Contact Club does not have a real-life building where members meet each other. The website is our meeting-point, together with our forum. We organise special SV Contact Club events on a regular bases.

Our goal is to have as much fun with each other as possible. Members can exchange information about their bikes and get help and advice from other members about (for example) maintenance.

Membership of the SV Contact Club costs EUR. 32,- for the first year and EUR. 20 for following years. Members have the possibility to join organised events (track days, tours, weekends, etc.). Non-member are welcome on our forum, but will have limited access. As member you receive our newsletter 5 times a year, have the possibility to put your own pictures on our website and you will be able to buy your motorcycle-related products at a couple of stores for lower prices when you show your the SV Contact Club club membership card. Last but not least, you'll support the SV Contact Club to present itself at some important motorcycle-events in The Netherlands and Belgium.

If you want to join a SV650, Gladius, SV1000 or TL1000 motorcycle club and you're a non-Dutch speaker you might consider a different club since our main language is Dutch. For SV650 riders, http://www.svrider.org is a famous world-wide website with it's own mailinglist and online board. If you are living in The Netherlands or Belgium, just join our forum and read all information on the website! If you want to contact one of the members of the board (for example if you are a member of a German or French SV or TL motorcycle club and want to organise an international meeting), please send an e-mail to our chairman.

We hope you'll enjoy your visit to this website,

SV Contact Club (webbeheer@svcontact.com)
